The EDHEC Family Business Centre’s objectives are to:
- Become a leading reference on family businesses in terms of management training, research and international benchmarking.
- Exert a strong impact on SMEs and Intermediary Size Enterprises (ETI) in the regions where EDHEC’s campuses are located, in terms of the transfer of knowledge and expertise.
- Raise awareness of family businesses especially for the next generation of young managers (in terms of career opportunities, management and governance approaches, and transmission) notably via case studies, training, interventions by family-business members and conferences.
Innovation Centre and FabAcademy
AgriLab started end of 2018, as an open Innovation center in Agriculture and FabLab. It wants to be the bridge between Agriculture, FabLab and the opensource world.
With 1200m2, in a huge building on the University UniLasalle Polytechnique campus in Beauvais (France), we are installed in an agriculture exploitation. We can directly test in the field. A full tractor can enter in the Lab. We have cows and chickens next door and a variety of crops to test different prototypes. We even have some facility to host peoples several days. And we have a huge local network: the agriculture chamber is next door, some major constructor of agronomic equipment have their headquarters in the neighbourhood.
A Public Institute Dedicated to Agri-science
INRAE is France’s new National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment, created on January 1, 2020, It was formed by the merger of INRA, the National Institute for Agricultural Research, and IRSTEA, the National Research Institute of Science and Technology for the Environment and Agriculture.
Digital Innovation Lab for Wine Sector
An open innovation platform, the DigiLab offers companies and R&D players a network of sites and skills to develop, test, evaluate and demonstrate digital technologies for the wine sector.
